Back to School for IB
IB Construction has continued its long-standing relationship with Dudley Council by recently completing two school projects.
Halesbury School in Halesowen was the first one to be finished, with the company successfully building an extension to existing classrooms that are tailored to meet the special educational needs of pupils of all ages.
This was closely followed by Leasowes High School, who wanted to replace its dated dining room with a lighter, calmer and more welcoming environment, including the addition of a skylight and new roof atrium. This, combined with an extensive roof replacement, posed plenty of challenges during the earlier part of this year.
Tim Lewis, Business Development Manager at IB Construction, explained: “Our relationship with Dudley Council dates back to 1966 and we are delighted that we have delivered many successful projects for them over the past 52 years.
“They select us because we not only have an excellent health and safety record within the company, but we also meet their deadlines and can work in sensitive environments, particularly within the education sector.
“All of our staff are experienced and trained to work on site as part of a team with school staff and local authority administrators.”
